Human Habitats

We bring a show and 6 hands-on stations to your school, suitable for grades 3-6. Program begins with a 30 minute interactive show. Following the show, two classrooms at a time rotate through hands-on activities for one hour.

Funded by the Gulf Research Project of the National Academy of Sciences.

Each event includes:

• A 30 minute show
• Up to 4 hours of hands-on activities for 2 classrooms at a time (1 hour for each set of students)

What you will provide:

• Auditorium or cafeteria for presentation
• Activity space for 6 hands-on stations for up to 50 students at a time – this could be a cafeteria space, science room, or two adjacent classrooms.
• Volunteers (teachers or others) to help with the stations.

Pricing

Program is presented at no cost to schools through grant funding. Typically pricing would be $350 for one show. $150 for each additional show.
