Have your birthday at the Pensacola MESS Hall!
A birthday party at the MESS Hall is a fun and educational event. We hold no more than one birthday party per day, so please check the form to see if your date is available. Please note that birthday parties are for children turning ages 6 and up.
The birthday package includes:
- Admission for up to 20 children and 20 adults
- Use of the party room for 2 hours where you can have cake or other food
- Open exploration of the MESS Hall for everyone during the party
The activities for the guests center on our hands-on science experiences. Because they require attention and fine motor skills, they are most appropriate for elementary age and up Therefore, to provide the best experience for all, birthday parties are for children turning ages 6 and up.
The cost of the party is $235/$295 full annual members/nonmembers. Discount applies for annual members only. Become a member.

Birthdays can be scheduled on the form below for Saturdays at 10 AM. There is limited availability for Saturdays at 1 PM and, in the summer, for Sundays at 2 PM. For those options, please email us to check availability.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FAVORS
Let us make your party favor bags for your birthday party!
Each party favor bag is packed with all hands-on math, engineering, and science activities perfect to further engagement for your party guests. Everything is in the bag, except for scissors, for party guests and their families to experiment at home.
The party favors take away kits contain:
- Mobius Strips: Make math and topology magical with the continuous surface of a Mobius strip.
- Thaumatrope: Blend two images into one with a spinning thaumatrope.
- Telephone: Transmit sound with the classic toy of string and cups.
- Paper Helicopter: Cut and fold a whirling toy.
Price: $3 each for 15 or more kits. (Under 15 is regular price of $4)
