Camps are for students entering grades 1 – 6 in Fall 2026, with some weeks only allowing certain ages. Camps that cater to all ages will have a mix of students being all in the same space and separated into two rooms by age groups. This provides the older students an opportunity to engage in activities that require a higher degree of fine motor skills.

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Science Sampler: These single day camps focus on one scientific discipline each day. Many camps begin with a story to set the stage for creative thinking. Choose the days you need for either half or full day.
Lego Builders: Up your creator skills with thousands of Lego bricks, focusing on buildings, vehicles, and working machines. Note that the two weeks are for different age groups.
Games Unplugged: Explore the ups and downs and ins and outs of the MESS Hall’s large scale games. Engage in the science of strategy as you plan, create, and play your own games. Or, explore a brand new game and play it! Older kids will engage in role playing games. *Camp attendees need to be comfortable with losing.
Lab Ratz: What happens when you mix kids and chemistry? An explosion of fun!* *No real explosions, because safety comes first. Lab goggles provided.
Space Out: Make it your mission to explore the universe through science and art with the Pensacola MESS Hall.
Wild World: Explore the world of living things during this week. It’s a blast of biology whether on land or in the sea.
CSI Mystery: Build your sleuthing skills with science and solve mysteries.
Out of the Box: Create with cardboard and Chompsaws!
