Illuminate: Color

Our classic field trip format will open your eyes to our colorful world. Incorporating perception, plotting, and reflection, this experience opens with an interactive show highlighting the science of color. Students will then rotate through six hands on stations.

Time: Field trips last 1 1/2 hours and typically begin at 10 AM. Groups must depart by 11:30 AM.
Grade Level: 3rd +
Maximum group size: 60 learners
Cost: $12 per student; minimum cost is $350
Chaperones: 1 adult for every 10 students

Stations connect with education standards with a strong emphasis on Nature of Science. Some of the concepts to be covered include: the properties of light, data representation, and classifying objects. Students will also make and communicate observations, compare their results, and creatively explore scientific phenomena.
