Grade K-2 Field Trip

A classic field trip format where students will assemble for a show then rotate through six stations of hands-on learning.

The 2026-27 school year program is How to Measure A Song

Measurement is often seen as a static subject, but the Pensacola MESS Hall is bringing it to life through the lens of music. This year’s field trip is specifically designed for students in grades K-2 to address core standards in math and science—including length, liquid volume, and data analysis—through creative problem-solving.

Grade levels: 1st and 2nd, with Kindergarten trips schedule in the spring
Time: Field trips last 1 1/2 hours and typically begin at 10 AM. Groups must depart by 11:30 AM.
Maximum group size: 60 learners
Cost: $13 per student; minimum cost is $350
Chaperones: 1 adult for every 5 students. No more than 15 approved chaperones may attend. Chaperones will be assigned to groups to help guide children through the activities.
