Special Programs

Join us for something new every week!

Story Time Mondays: We invite families with younger children ages 3+ to join us for story time at the MESS Hall from 3-3:45pm. We will begin with a story followed by a related hands-on activity. Dates are June 8 & 22, July 6 & 20. This program is included with regular admission.

Lab Thursdays: Join us for special workshops from 1-4pm. We will rotate through themes such as slime, rockets, and bubbles! Activities are recommended for ages 6+ and is included with regular admission. Dates are June 4, 11, 18, 25 & July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.

Special Guests:
Rick O’Connor from Florida Sea Grant will be joining us on July 2, 1pm to talk about and show us some local wildlife.
Scientists from Circulogene will present DNA Discovery July 23, 1pm.

Game Night Summer Series: Adults can have a night off too with our Game Night: Strategy on June 23 6-9pm. This is a free, after hours event, for our MESS Hall adults age 21+. Registration requested so that we may prepare the right amount of games. Following adult evenings are scheduled for July 21 and August 25!

Outreach and Field Trips

Looking to enhance your summer education/camp programming with science fun? We have options available for our Tall Scientific Tales outreach program or schedule a field trip to visit us at the MESS Hall! More info can be found here.
