Programs at MESS Hall
- Get Going With Gravity
Balance the forces during this K-2 program with a science show and six hands-on activity stations. - Reflective Lab
A new twist on our field trip. Includes a 30 minute long guided lesson for students. Grades 4 & 5. - Illuminate: Color
Our most popular format, a science show followed by six hands on stations for grades 3-6.

Assembly
- Walk In The Watershed
Assembly show for grades 3-6 focused on life in our ecosystem. - Eye Spy Color
Assembly show for grades K-2 focused on light and color.
Evening with Families
- Family Science Night
Our most popular outreach for family engagement! We set up 10 stations at your school with 2 staff members. - Family Math Night
Similar to family science nights but with math-focused stations for the whole family to enjoy. Ten stations and 2 staff members provided.
Grant Funded Programs
- Water & My Community
This classroom workshop series for 4 or 5 grade incorporates math, science, and social studies. Includes a stipend for participating teachers. Funded by the Gulf Research Program. - Human Habitats
We bring a show and 6 hands-on stations to your school, suitable for grades 3-6. Funded by the Gulf Research Program of the National Academy of Sciences.
Other Groups
Looking for a fun outing for your church group, scout troop, or other bands of science fans? Bring your cohort to the MESS Hall! Please fill out this form to reserve a Saturday morning or to indicate interest in other days. Prescheduled group visits receive a discounted admission of $13 per person for everyone ages 3 and up, including adults. Email us if you have unique requests, and we will work with you.
Partnership and Grant-Funded Booths
The Pensacola MESS Hall expands its reach into the community through our outreach booths. We offer a limited number of free or discounted booths for community events. Please fill out our webform to request a booth for your event. Preplanning is rewarded! We book booths 3-12 months in advance.
